Teardrops to Rainbows (T2R) is a recognized 501(c)(3), organization based in Fairfax, Virginia which provides support, services and financial assistance to area children with cancer and their families. T2R plays an active role in helping families through the many stages of treatment for a life-threatening illness.
We are embracing the Wizard of Oz this year not only because it is fun and whimsical, but because it embodies the mission and spirit of T2R. For our families, their destination is "Emerald City," which is surviving childhood cancer and hopefully one day finding a cure. T2R's mission is not focused on the cure, but the journey our families take to get better. We are the "yellow brick road" that guides, nurtures, and supports our families as they navigate through this difficult time. Our supporters are the faith, wisdom, heart, and strength that help these families have an easier journey through Oz.
Please join us and our "Over the Rainbow" sponsors on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner, for a spectacular evening, featuring Radio King Orchestra, to celebrate 10 years of service to the community.
